Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) container 2 Sisters' Honey restaurant-style salsa
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp lime juice, divided
- 3 lbs chiken wings
- 2 cups fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Purée salsa, honey, and 2 Tbsp lime juice in a blender until smooth. Reserve half of sauce in a bowl; cover and chill. Pour remaining sauce into a large bowl.
- Using a sharp knife, separate wings and drumettes. Cut off wing tips, and discard. Add wings to sauce in large bowl; toss. Cover, and chill 8 hours or up to 2 days.
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Remove wings from marinade; discard marinade.
- Place wings in a single layer on 2 lightly greased wire racks set over rimmed baking sheets. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until wings are golden brown. Toss wings with reserved sauce.
- Meanwhile, process cilantro, oil, sour cream, ¼ cup lime juice, honey, and garlic in a blender until smooth. Serve cilantro sauce with wings for dipping.
