Our Story
Every great Southern recipe has a story — and ours starts in the rich farmland of Central Louisiana with a bumper crop of homegrown tomatoes and a whole lot of Cajun creativity.
Back in 2011, founder and farmer Patrick Deshotels began making fresh salsa straight from his home kitchen using family-inspired recipes, locally grown produce, and flavors rooted deep in Louisiana tradition. Before long, friends, family, and neighbors kept coming back for “just one more jar,” and 2 Sisters’ Salsa was born.
The name “2 Sisters” represents the heart of what we believe food should do — bring people together like family around the kitchen table. Inspired by the spirit of Southern sisterhood, laughter, hospitality, and homemade cooking, every jar is packed with bold flavor and a little Louisiana soul.
Today, under the ownership of Denise Ramon, 2 Sisters’ Salsa continues to honor those roots while adding a fresh new chapter to the story. What started as a small kitchen project has grown into a brand found in thousands of stores across the country, but our approach hasn’t changed: use fresh ingredients, craft unforgettable flavor, and make salsa that feels homemade from the very first bite.
