Crawfish Étouffée
Ingredients
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp 2 Sisters' Salsa (Original or Jalapeno)
  • 1/2stick butter
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 Sisters' Special Blend Seasoning, to taste
  • 1lb Louisiana crawfish tails
  • 2tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
  1. 1. Saute’ onion, bell pepper, salsa, butter, olive oil, garlic, and seasoning on medium heat for 20 minutes, adding water as needed.
  2. 2. Add crawfish tails and cook on high for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in cornstarch and water as needed.
  4. 4. Cook for additional 5 minutes until desired thickness.
  5. 5. Serve over rice.
